Badrul, Khairul in Philippines Open semis but unhappy coach blasts organisers


Khairul Hafiz Jantan is set to be drafted into the 2017 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games squad after his performance in last month’s World Youth Athletics Championships in Cali, Colombia.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian teenage sprinters Badrul Hisyam Abdul Manap and Khairul Hafiz Jantan were in top form in the Philippines Open Athletics Championships in Manila.

Badrul and Khairul did exceptionally well to win their semi-finals to qualify for Friday’s men’s 100m final at the Philsports Track and Field Oval in Pasig City.
