Kenyans return to defend KL Marathon title


Kennedy Kiproo Lilan of Kenya will defend the KL Marathon title he won in this year's race on Oct 12.

KUALA LUMPUR: Kenyans Kennedy Kiproo Lilan and Rose Chekurui Kosegi will return to defend their titles at the Standard Chartered KL Marathon on Oct 12.

Lilan completed the 42.2km race in 2’19:01 to win the men’s title for the third straight time last year. As for Kosegi, she clocked 2’41:05 to clinch the women’s crown.
