High jumper Hup Wei out of CWG with injury

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Asian high jump champion Lee Hup Wei will not feature in next month’s Glasgow Commonwealth Games. 

The 25-year-old suffered a hip injury during training in Bukit Jalil last week. Hup Wei, who cleared 2.27m to win the gold at the Asian and Track Field (ATF) Championships in Jordan in 2007, is prone to injuries.
