Fatin’s quarter-final exit leaves archery empty-handed


MALAYSIA’S archery team endured a painful end to their Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games campaign after returning home empty-handed following the defeat of their last remaining archer, Fatin Nurfatehah Mat Salleh, in the women’s individual compound quarter-finals yesterday.

Fatin went down 145-147 to South Korea’s world No. 66 Park Jung-yoon at the Okazaki Chuo Sogo Park Multipurpose Square in Aichi.
