Coach wants Khairul-Syaqiera to qualify for top-16 stage


PETALING JAYA: Archers Khairul Anuar Mohamad and Syaqiera Mashayikh have been issued a challenge – qualify for the mixed team’s top-16 match-play stage – at the Tokyo Olympics.

Malaysia are not expected to stand any chance against their illustrious rivals in the battle for a podium finish but head coach Lee Jae-hyung wants the pair to put up a worthy performance in the mixed event which is making its debut at the Games in Japan on Friday.
