PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s compound archers could only finish fourth in the mixed team event of the World Cup first leg in Shanghai after losing to Russia in the bronze medal playoff.

The duo of Mohd Juwaidi Mazuki and Nor Rizah Ishak missed out on claiming Malaysia’s first-ever medal in the event after going down 141-155 to Russia’s Albina Loginova-Viktor Kalashnikov on Saturday.
