PETALING JAYA: Archers Muhd Zaki Mahazan and Nor Rizah Ishak have given Malaysia their first medal at the Asia Cup Stage 2 in Bangkok.

Muhd Zaki and Nor Rizah made up for their 157-148 semi-final loss to top seeds and eventual champions Amaya Cojuangco-Jose Ferdinand Adriano of the Philippines with a consolation bronze in the compound mixed team event.
