Several delivery couriers in Singapore have been cheated of at least S$2,000 (RM6,306) in total since April in a job scam targeting those in the trade.
At least 13 people have fallen victim to a new kind of job scam since January, losing more than S$38,000 (RM116,499) in total, said the Singapore Police Force (SPF) on Monday (March 7).
It took her two years to save up the S$17,000 (RM52,571) she needed for her wedding, and in just one day in September last year, she lost the money to a job scam.

The police said the scam, which targets the public via WhatsApp, has cost victims over RM200,000 in losses.
