The making of a nation through art

Galeri Petronas gets a nostalgic makeover with 'MY Story: Transforming The Nation', which tells the history of our country through art.

'Would you trust your savings to an old biscuit tin?' is the question that accompanies this installation that shows how the people of Malaya stored their money and valuables in biscuit tins and old jars. Some even stuffed them in mattresses in a time before the Malaysian EPF was established in 1951.
