This comes after the establishment of the Higher Education Ministry under Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s administration. The previous secretary-general was Tan Sri Dr Noorul Ainur Mohd Nur, who served under minister Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh from 2016 to 2018. “I believe with his knowledge, experience and credibility, Mazlan will bring change to the role higher education institutions play in the development and modernisation of knowledge and quality human capital, ” chief secretary to the government Datuk Seri Mohd Zuki Ali said in a statement on Monday.
