PETALING JAYA: Boustead Plantations Bhd’s chief executive officer Chow Kok Choy will be stepping down from his post effective July 31, following his retirement after serving the group for nearly five decades.
KUALA LUMPUR: Boustead Plantations Bhd chief executive officer (CEO) Chow Kok Choy, a veteran planter, will retire on July 31 after 48 years with the group.
PETALING JAYA: Boustead Plantations Bhd anticipates crude palm oil (CPO) prices to be bullish by 2020, ranging from a conservative outlook of between RM2,200 and RM2,300 per tonne.
Oil palm concessions unfairly singled out as the cause of the haze but the main factors are pulpwood plantations, wildfire from slash-and-burn land clearing, and smouldering peatlands.
Boustead Holdings Bhd expects the crude palm oil (CPO) price to strengthen to RM2,000-RM2,200 per tonne in the first six months next year.
