PETALING JAYA: Budget 2016 is not all doom and gloom for middle income families. Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad’s chief economist Mohd Afzanizam Abdul Rashid said the tax reliefs should reduce the chargeable income for these groups and hence reduce their tax burden in 2017.
