B>P/B>ROFESSOR Dr Ibrahim Abdullah is a man of science who has spent most of his life in the study and teaching of chemistry. He began teaching the subject in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) more than 20 years ago, having graduated from Universiti Malaya in 1973 with a bachelor#8217;s degree in chemistry. In 1977, Ibrahim, who is now 54, received a doctorate from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
