PETALING JAYA: Many Malaysians who "failed" to get an appointment for the AstraZeneca vaccine while trying to register for it on Wednesday (May 26) woke up to good news today (May 27) when their MySejahtera application was updated with an appointment for inoculation.

KOTA BHARU (Bernama): Unfamiliarity with the MySejahtera application has been cited as the reason senior citizens in Kelantan fail to show up for their appointments in the second phase of the state-level National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.
KUALA LUMPUR: The failure of many individuals to keep to their Covid-19 vaccination appointments without any solid reason is disrupting the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme’s target and delaying the process of achieving herd immunity in the country, says Assoc Prof Dr Yahya Mat Arip, a virologist from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Malaysia aims to achieve herd immunity with at least 70% of its population vaccinated by the end of the year but so far, the percentage of those who have registered for the Covid-19 vaccine is very low.
