There will also be a list of standard operating procedures (SOPs) on delivery during the fasting month of Ramadan during the movement control order (MCO) drawn up by the National Security Council soon. Ismail Sabri said this was to cater to some deliveries which have to be made for the pre-dawn meals (sahur) by Muslims who are fasting. "The NSC has agreed to draw up SOPs for delivery during the fasting month," said Ismail Sabri. Currently, deliveries by registered riders can only be made from 8am to 8pm. He also said that as much as he welcomes the volunteers from the community wanting to uphold the MCO to stop trespassers, he said they should work with the police. "Involve the police so that unwanted incidents do not take place and they must not assume the powers of the police," said Ismail Sabri during his daily briefing in Putrajaya on non-health matters of MCO.
