Wilmar gets summons for alleged defamation

PETALING JAYA: Wilmar Trading Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Wilmar International Ltd, was served with a writ of summons on Thursday by Pacific Inter-Link Sdn Bhd (PIL), a Malaysian palm oil trader, for alleged defamation and unlawful interference with PIL#8217;s economic interests and business with regard to Wilmar#8217;s contracts of sale of palm oil products with other parties.
