30 water meters stolen in one night

Water meters are the current object of desire among thieves in Cheras. Recently, more than 30 of these devices were stolen in one night in Taman Bukit Hijau alone. Word has it the meters are being sold for RM20 a piece. These Cheras MCA division members (below) are advising the public to install protective locks to ensure their water meters stay put.
