Restoring power to the Judiciary the way forward

AT a function recently, I had the opportunity to meet a former Senator from Gerakan. The former Senator is currently in his sixties and still actively serving the party. As the fever from the 13th General Election has yet to subside, we spoke in great length on politics. In particular, we discussed the impact of the election results on our respective parties - that being Gerakan and MCA - and what lies ahead for our parties given the few seats still retained by our respective parties.

Being a greenhorn in politics, I am always eager to hear the views of these senior politicians. It is from their experiences that I hope I can learn the art of politics. The conversation started with me asking the former Senator his views on the future of our respective parties and how we are to regain the lost seats.
