THE recent AFF Suzuki Cup final between Malaysia and Thailand was a unique experience for me, mainly because it was the first time that I had entered the stadium late for a Malaysian football game.

For any other game, it wouldn’t have been so bad. This, however, was the second leg of the biggest game on the Southeast Asian football stage.
