I REFER to the report “Retirement savings challenge” (The Star, Jan 14), which quoted experts as saying the government should increase the retirement age from the current 60, so Malaysians could accumulate enough retirement savings after factoring in the rise in cost of living and longer life expectancy.
Repeated calls to raise the retirement age overlook the pressing issue of young graduates who are struggling to find suitable employment.
