Greater accountability vital in tackling drug scourge

I REFER to the report “Only 10, and hooked on drugs” (The Star, Sept 26) on Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi expressing deep concern over children being enticed into using drugs and ending up being addicts.

During a recent interview with Bernama, he highlighted a particularly sinister tactic employed by dealers who offer free sweets laced with drugs to draw young children.
