Boosting public confidence in judicial appointments

I REFER to the recent issue pertaining to judicial appointments in Malaysia that raised questions about the integrity and independence of our judiciary.

In reality, public confidence in judicial appointments cannot rest solely on the selection of qualified individuals; it must be grounded in a clear, transparent and accountable system as well.
