A CURSORY glance at the “Letters to the Editor” column in any newspaper will reveal a worrying trend – a deafening silence from government ministries and departments in response to public concerns.
This is not a new issue. Malaysians have long been encouraged by the government to share their feedback, especially on matters of national interest.
