WE welcome the Health Ministry’s commitment to strengthening geriatric care in Malaysia, as highlighted by the recent news report, “Ministry to tackle geriatric specialists scarcity in 13MP” (The Star, March 30).
The Elderly Healthcare Service Action Plan 2023–2030 is a commendable step towards addressing the needs of our ageing population.
