Prepare homemakers for re-entry into the workforce

I RECENTLY read the article titled “Devalued, overlooked, and seen as disposable” (The Star, Dec 14; online at bit.ly/star_womenwork). Thank you for bringing attention to the challenges faced by women returning to the workforce after a career break. This is a critical issue that requires urgent and thoughtful solutions.

However, I believe there is another important aspect that remains under-explored: the lack of support provided to women during their time as homemakers.
