Call for stricter penalties for wildlife-related collisions


SIX Malayan Tigers have died in “roadkill” incidents between 2023 and 2024, a significant number since there are fewer than 150 of these endangered animals left in the wild.

Between 2015 and 2020, 92 Malayan tapirs were killed in collisions with vehicles across states like Johor, Pahang and Selangor.
