Hiking salaries alone will not improve public service


I REFER to “Civil service reform needed, says Shamsul Azri” (The Star, Sept 10).

I totally agree with Chief Secretary to the Government (KSN) Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar’s view that outdated processes, silo working and “little Napoleons” need to be eliminated to reform the civil service.
