There’s an anaemia crisis among Orang Asli children

WITH the world, including Malaysia, marking International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples yesterday, we would like to highlight a pressing health issue faced by indigenous communities in this country.

Researchers from Universiti Malaya recently conducted a systematic review in Malaysia that revealed a high prevalence of anaemia among Orang Asli children.
