Call for quicker processing of VEP applications


FROM Oct 1, Singaporeans who want to drive into Malaysia must have a vehicle entry permit (VEP). Failure to have it will incur a fine and even jail term, as announced by Malaysian Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook.

Singaporeans understand the reasons behind the VEP and are willing to comply with Malaysia’s law. What is of concern is the application process.
