IN their golden years, most parents expect their adult children to care for them. Unfortunately, an increasing number of ageing parents in Malaysia face challenges and sometimes abuse due to the actions of their grown-up children.
In conjunction with World Elder Abuse Awareness Day on Saturday, I would like to remind readers of instances where elderly parents are taken advantage of in the hope that people can take precautions.
