AS a Singaporean who frequently drives to Malaysia, the VEP (vehicle entry permit) requirement for foreign-registered vehicles entering Johor from Singapore announced by Transport Minister Anthony Loke recently will affect me.
Back in 2019 when the VEP was first announced, I registered my car on the JPJ (Road Transport Department) website and the status was reflected as pending. The borders were closed shortly after due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and I did not manage to affix the RFID sticker then.
