Additional tribute to Tun Hanif

IT was a fitting farewell for the late Tun Mohammed Hanif Omar, who was laid to rest with full police honours at the Bukit Kiara Muslim Cemetery last Saturday.

Hanif, who served as the fourth Inspector General of Police (IGP) from 1974 to 1995, will always be remembered as the youngest individual to helm the Royal Malaysia Police Force at the age of 35 years.
