Heed the call and take your rubbish home


I REFER to Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming’s call for local authorities to have zero tolerance towards littering, “Local councils ordered to get tough on litterbugs, no more fine discounts” (Sunday Star, April 7).

He issued the call after images of piles of rubbish scattered on the side of the road near the Pahang-Kelantan border, probably tossed by motorists, went viral on social media recently (pic).
