MCRA welcomes govt's move to ensure vulnerable children will have access to citizenship


THE Malaysian Citizenship Rights Alliance (MCRA) has lauded the government’s move to drop the controversial proposed amendments on citizenship. However, the group has raised concerns over three other constitutional amendments on citizenship that will have a negative impact on stateless children, undocumented Malaysians including Orang Asli and Orang Asal, and foreign wives of Malaysian men.
