IT IS with deep sorrow that I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the family of former Sarawak chief minister and governor Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud.

Our friendship began in 1973 when the greater Alliance known as Barisan Nasional (BN) was set up by the late Tun Abdul Razak Hussein for the sake of national unity and less politicking.
