TO enhance its revenue base and guarantee fiscal durability, the government will raise service tax from the current 6% to 8% from next month.
This tax rate rise will affect an extensive array of taxable goods and services but will exempt those that are essential, such as food and beverages, telecommunications, vehicle parking and logistics.
