MY car was towed by the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) a few days ago. I had parked on the grass verge under a tree in an isolated area where traffic was not heavy, and I did not block anyone. I duly paid the fine (RM150) and got my car back.
Later, I saw 10 cars parked along the curve of a road some 200m away from where I had parked mine. These cars would have disrupted the flow of traffic because of the shape of the road, but they were not towed away. I wondered why. What are MBSA’s criteria for towing cars?
