INSPECTOR-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain should be commended for his recent announcements regarding the state of integrity in the Royal Malaysia Police. This follows a spate of events in rapid sequence of unhealthy practices indulged in by, presumably, a small cohort of police personnel.
It must be appreciated that a major part of the force serve with integrity, risking life and limb to ensure the safety of society at large. There is pride in donning the uniform.
