IT was tough for Taiwanese badminton ace Chou Tien-Chen when he was diagnosed with early stage colorectal cancer in early 2023, “Taiwanese shuttler Tien-chen won’t take challenges lying down” (StarSport, The Star, Feb 9).
He did what any rational person diagnosed with cancer would do – sought treatment, which involved the removal of a huge portion of his large intestine.
