THE Malaysian Public University Medical Deans Council would like to present our stance in response to the issues and discussions regarding medical specialist training pathways in Malaysia as highlighted in the report “Resolve issues with specialists training fast” (The Star, Feb 6).
We have consistently supported the nation’s best interests, with goals of advancing medical education in a quality-assured way, thus ensuring the provision of highly trained specialists for Malaysia’s healthcare system.
