Time to pass smoking law


ON Tuesday, the Health Ministry tabled the Control of Smoking Products for Public Health Bill 2023 in the Dewan Rakyat.

This version of the proposed legislation, previously known as the Tobacco And Smoking Control Bill, does not feature the Generational Endgame (GEG) provision as it has been decoupled from the Bill.
