When claims should be paid without forfeiting the discount

IN a previous letter, I wrote about the substantial damage caused to the undercarriage of my car after an encounter with a large concrete block in the middle of the North–South Expressway, “Beware obstruction on roads” (The Star, Aug 4).

If that experience wasn’t harrowing enough, the process of claiming for compensation is even more distressing.
