I AM appalled by PAS secretary- general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan’s statement on Friday that an “extraordinary presence” of police on the campaign trail for the Pelangai by-election in Pahang is causing unease and anxiety! He also called for the police to be more professional in carrying out their duties.
To question the professionalism of the police is uncalled for as the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has an illustrious 216-year track record of maintaining peace and security in the country. The PDRM is always there for the rakyat, 24/7, come rain or shine. What more can you demand of the men and women in blue?
