Policy holder expects better service

I HAD a minor mishap that required outpatient medical attention. As I have an insurance policy with a major insurance company, I submitted a claim.

The insurance company required, among others, a medical report from the attending doctor to be submitted with the claim. I had to pay RM80 for the doctor’s report. What puzzles me is that even though the doctor’s report is required by the insurance company, the fee I paid for it is not claimable. This is, I believe, unfair to policy holders.
