Last week, six health and vape groups issued a joint statement pushing for the tabling of the Tobacco and Vape Control Bill, adding that the Generational Endgame (GEG) provision must be retained.

The statement was said to be issued after a joint meeting with Deputy Health Minister Lukanisman Awang Sauni. As the voice of the nation's ecigarette users, the Vape Consumer Association of Malaysia (VCAM) strongly disagrees with the issued statement and is disappointed to have not been included nor made aware of the meeting with the Deputy Health Minister.
