Approve transfer of staff with valid reasons

I AM a retired government schoolteacher. I was speaking to another retired teacher recently who told me that it is very difficult these days for young teachers to get approvals for transfer requests to be with their spouse.

Apparently, they are told that there is no guarantee of a transfer and are advised to get used to living apart. I sincerely hope this is not true, and hereby urge the authorities concerned to please approve the transfer requests of young employees, not just teachers but also those in other professions, such as doctors, nurses and police personnel, once they get married.
