Rethink penalty for running the red light

NOT too long ago, running the red light used to be associated with mat rempit, food delivery riders and other unruly motorcyclists. But not any more; nowadays, drivers of cars, tour buses, factory vans, and even long trailers, are doing the same thing.

There is no denying that the police and Road Transport Department (JPJ) have been trying to rein in this problem for ages. But the truth is, this menace has gone out of control!
