Swift action by Johor police lauded


IT IS disheartening that derogatory remarks were made against our country’s royal institution by a religious preacher in a video that went viral on the social media platform TikTok.

The 31-second video clip showed the preacher saying that religious scholars are heirs of the prophet and that Rajas and Sultans must sit underneath the scholars, according to Johor state police chief Comm Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat in a press statement.
