ON Friday, Dr Farah Nini Dusuki was appointed as the Children’s Commissioner to the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam), as announced by Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Legal and Institutional Reform) Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said (“Dr Farah Nini appointed Children’s Commissioner”, The Star, March 10; online at bit.ly/star_childcomm).
Farah Nini is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Universiti Malaya. She has been appointed for a three-year term effective March 8.
