Poser on validity of legal documents at JPJ

I AM 77 years old. My husband passed away three months ago and one of the tasks I needed to do was to transfer the ownership of his car to myself. He had willed the car to me.

I went to the Road Transport Department’s (JPJ) branch office in Petaling Jaya by ehailing service early on Wednesday morning. At the counter, the officer checked whether I had all the documents required to effect the transfer. I was then asked to produce my husband’s death certificate.
